Welcome to the Board of Examiners of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Managers website. The site was designed and continues to improve with consumers and licensees in mind. The website contains a variety of information including a searchable directory of administrators and managers, forms such as applications, our laws and rules, Board meeting dates, and the members who are appointed by the Governor to serve on this Board.

DPS fingerprinting goes paperless. Initial and renewal of clearance card applications can now be done online and then go have your finger prints live scanned and electronically submitted. Click to read the press release.

Caregiver and Manager Training Programs:

Caregiver training certificates DO NOT expire.
Any training taken after 8/3/13 from a provider not on the NCIA approved list is NOT valid. If you have a question about a training certificate contact our office at 602-364-2374.

New and renewal of fingerprint clearance cards is taking DPS up to 3 months to process. DPS telephone number for application is, 602-223-2279

Receive three hours of continuing education, at no charge, for attending a Board meeting.

The mission of the Board is to protect the health, welfare, and safety of Arizona citizens who seek and use the services of nursing care institution administrators and assisted living facility managers.
What We Do
The Board licenses nursing care institution administrators and certifies assisted living facility managers. The licensing and certification process helps ensure that qualifications, competency and standards are met. The Board investigates all complaints, and enforces the practice standards of the Administrators and Managers. The Board also approves continuing education courses to make sure quality and useful education is being taught.
