The mission of the Board is to protect the health, welfare, and safety of Arizona citizens who seek and use the services of nursing care institution administrators and assisted living facility managers.
What We Do
The Board licenses nursing care institution administrators and certifies assisted living facility managers. The licensing and certification process helps ensure that qualifications, competency and standards are met. The Board investigates all complaints, and enforces the practice standards of the Administrators and Managers. The Board approves continuing education courses to make sure quality and useful education is being taught. The Board also sets standards and approves assisted living facility caregiver and manager training programs.
